About

DSCN6729.jpg
I am an English-Norwegian Costume Design & Construction graduate based in London. My work in costume and fashion is rooted in a deep appreciation for detail, combining both bottom-up and top-down construction approaches, with a particular focus on underwear and headwear as my areas of specialism. I believe that well-crafted foundation garments don’t just support an outfit physically, but establishes the tone for the entire ensemble, so I aim to include them wherever possible.

My creative journey began early, with a keen eye for fashion, clothing and design. I explored pottery, painting, and drawing as well as sewing from a young age - disciplines that continue to influence my practice. Millinery is another core element of my work, sparked by a formative placement at Edwina Ibbotson Couture Millinery in 2019, which I returned to in 2024. That same year, I was honoured to receive an award from The Feltmakers Guild’s Annual Competition, a highlight in my ongoing exploration of millinery. I bring a deep respect for the structural foundations of a garment through precision and craftsmanship to every stitch.
